Tom is a popular Scottish voice over actor known for his warm and mature voice.
He first noticed his voice could take him places when numerous people who attended a training course with him in the NHS, kept telling him that they could listen to his voice all day. And how much his voice resembled that of Ken Stott of Rebus fame!

Hey Tom, what did you want to be when you were growing up?
I always wanted to be a professional football player and had trials with Clyde F.C. and Partick Thistle F.C.
Whose voice do you admire most?
Its got to be Ken Stott, although Robbie Coltrane is a close second.
Should have known! Where are you living now?
I am now living in Halesowen, West Midlands.

Oh dear! What was the most valuable thing you learnt from your voice over training?
Energy, Energy, Energy.
Do you prefer reading from screens or paper?
Your favourite project you have worked on?
My current 12 month project, I am converting Macmillan Cancer Support Factsheets into audio books for the visually impaired, it’s fascinating and it’s for such a worthy cause.
I have a parallel career as a film extra and I am a keen motorcyclist.
Top tip for aspiring voice artists?
Its tough out there, perseverance is the key.
