Ben & Jerry required a subtitling company to help translate six promotional videos into twenty languages. It was important to Ben & Jerry that their preferred translators had some input on the project to ensure the style of translation was consistent with their other marketing translations. This would normally be very difficult to achieve since most translators don’t have training in audio-visual translations.
However, our bespoke subtitling solution allowed their chosen translators to stay in control of the subtitle translations. We offered help and guidance throughout the project to ensure their translations met the necessary subtitle guidelines. We then synced the translated subtitles to the videos, and burnt-in to high definition QuickTime MOVs.
